House of Lords Reception 2026: Celebrating Our Outstanding Finalists

As anticipation builds towards The Armed Forces Community Awards at Soldiering On 2026, we are delighted to invite this year's finalists to a special reception at the House of Lords, Palace of Westminster, on 15th July 2026.

Held in the prestigious surroundings of the Cholmondeley Room and Terrace, the reception will bring together finalists, judges, partners, supporters and distinguished guests from across the Armed Forces community. The evening provides an opportunity to recognise the remarkable achievements of this year's finalists and celebrate the inspirational stories that sit behind every nomination.

The House of Lords Reception has become a valued part of The Armed Forces Community Awards at Soldiering On journey, offering finalists the chance to connect with fellow members of the Armed Forces community, share experiences and reflect on the impact they have made through their dedication, resilience and service.

As with previous years, the reception will underline the importance of recognising those who continue to make a positive difference to society, whether through business, charity, community engagement, innovation, health and wellbeing, or support for the wider military family.

Important Information for Finalists and Guests

Guests attending the reception are asked to review the venue access information carefully before travelling.

Due to ongoing restoration works at the Palace of Westminster, the usual Black Rod's Garden Entrance is currently closed. Finalists and guests attending the reception should use the Victoria Tower Gardens Visitors Entrance to access the venue.

Guests are advised to allow additional time for arrival and security screening before entering the Palace of Westminster.
