Tal Lambert MBE, Tal, Lambert, Chairman, Trustee, Co-Founder

Tal is currently employed as the Commanding Officer for the Information, Engineering and Security Unit at the Joint Force Intelligence Group at RAF Wyton. He recently completed his Advanced Command and Staff Course and achieved a Masters Degree in Defence Studies from Kings College. Prior to this he was the Assistant Head for the Networks Beyond Line of Sight Communications Team at the Joint Service Unit Corsham focusing on the satellite communications for the Royal Navy. Sep 10-Oct 12 he commanded the Communications Squadrons at RAF Brize Norton and Lyneham where he was responsible for over 140 personnel who delivered the fixed and ground-to-air communications for about 8000 personal at the RAF’s largest base.

After his Operational tour in Afghanistan, he was awarded a Chief of the Air Staff’s Commendation for leading the delivery of the communications solution for the Reaper Remotely Piloted Air Vehicle, enabling significant operational capability. Promoted from the ranks in 1996 he read Electronic Systems Engineering at the Royal Military College of Science, Shrivenham.  Tal was appointed a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire in The Queen’s New Year’s Honours’ List in 2013 for services to the RAF, post Command at RAF Brize Norton and Lyneham. Tal is also the Chairman and a founder of the Soldiering On Awards (SOA) that consists of military, civilian, media and entertainment professionals.
