Colleen is passionate about ensuring people are at the centre of service delivery, and that services seek to enable individuals and communities to support themselves and protect the most vulnerable where they cannot. As Assistant Director Supporting Communities she is a senior leader in Liverpool City Council, ensuring outcomes are achieved for the communities through collaborative partnerships and transforming services. Building on her 17 years’ experience in local government and academic background of social and community regeneration she has helped to further embed the commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant in Liverpool City Council, the organisation having been recognised with the Gold Award under the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme.
