Over the last four weeks, we’ve been announcing the amazing winners from twelve categories, plus our Patron’s Special Recognition Award winner. We’ve heard incredible stories, been reunited with inspirational members of the community, and celebrated achievements from all walks of life – and the armed forces family.

This does however mean there is still one final category winner to be revealed! We have some amazing finalists in the Lifetime Achievement category: Royal Air Force Veteran and SSAFA volunteer, Emlyn Phennah, Motel owner & Charity Fundraiser (£800,000+!) Harold Payne, and long-serving military charity, The Not Forgotten.

On Thursday, 22nd October, from 17:00 – 18:00, we will be streaming LIVE from the BFBS Studios, across Facebook, to announce the winner of our Lifetime Achievement award. Lt Colonel Ren Kapur MBE, Co-Chair of the Soldiering On Awards will be hosting alongside BFBS’ Jade Callaway, in what will be an incredibly special evening. An opportunity to recap on all the other category winners as we close out SOA 2020.

Join a host of special guests including Carly Paoli, Vicki Michelle, SOA President, Lord Dannatt and Patron, General Richard Nugee, as we celebrate 10 years of Soldiering On, salute this year’s incredible winners and reveal our Lifetime Achievement Award!

If we are lucky we might just get a one of our Sopranos to do a performance… we can guarantee it will be an entertaining hour of saluting our Armed Forces Community.

Lt Colonel Ren Kapur MBE, CEO of X-Forces Enterprise and Co-Chair of the Soldiering On Awards said:

“The last four weeks of celebration have been so wonderful.  It has been especially poignant to gather everyone together and celebrate our amazing community in these challenging times. Please join us next week, at the BFBS Studio, in celebrating all of the finalists, winners, judges and sponsors for 2020 before we unveil the winner of the 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award.”
