Welcome Lt Gen Nugee as Co-Chair of Judges
It is with great pleasure that Soldiering On Awards welcomes Lieutenant General Richard Nugee as Co-Chair of Judges.
With an illustrious career deeply rooted in the Armed Forces community, Lt Gen Nugee brings unparalleled expertise and a wealth of experience to the judging panel. His distinguished professional journey in the Army and Ministry of Defence, as well as strategic roles since leaving service, positions him uniquely to assume the mantle from Lord Dannatt, who led the judging panel for eight years until 2023.

Soldiering On Awards is thrilled to announce the return of broadcasting legend Jeremy Vine as host for 2024.
Jeremy Vine has led the Soldiering On Awards ceremony several times. His charismatic presence and genuine passion for honouring the societal contributions of the Armed Forces community have left an indelible mark on finalists, attendees, and those following the event remotely.
Inspiring Inclusion in Communities: Leaders Discuss International Womens Day Theme
Soldiering On Awards CEO Ren Kapur MBE teamed up with awards partner Adele Every at Cisco, and her colleague Sarah Walker, to kick-start an annual event seeking to shine a light on the incredible women and men in our Armed Forces community, and wider Forces-friendly individuals.
For International Women’s Day our aim is to bring all the partners of SOA together at different cities across the UK, starting off small with Newcastle, Cardiff, and Manchester, with our own theme of ‘Inspirational Communities’ – incorporating IWD’s international theme with the wonderful stories of our inspiring community – including the unsung heroes in our own X-Forces Enterprise and Soldiering On Awards communities, and beyond!

Soldiering On Awards is delighted to announce the opening of nominations for 2024. This year brings an exciting addition to the lineup – the introduction of the ‘Employee Champion Award.’ This category aims to shine a spotlight on those individuals who actively support members of the Armed Forces community in civilian careers and champion the employability of service leavers, reservists, veterans, spouses, and family members.
